Review: ‘Seduced’ raw chocolate e-book
I’m a big fan of Tanya Alekseeva, a raw foodist and wellness coach extraordinaire based in the U.K., and her blog Better Raw. Tanya makes some amazing food, like raw chocolate cupcakes, raw spaghetti and “meat”balls, and RAW TURKISH DELIGHT (hello!?!). But when she started posting photos like this on the Better Raw Facebook page, I knew something extra-incredible was in the works.

Seriously—Holy. Crap. Are you seeing this?

Unbelievable! As it turns out, Tanya was busy writing her new e-book, called ‘Seduced’ – Raw Chocolate Recipes To Get Very Excited For. And she’s not kidding.

‘Seduced’ contains:
- 22 original mouthwatering recipes
- Gorgeous color photography
- Ingredients packed with raw enzymes and nutrients
- Recipes for which you need little more than a grater and a bowl
- Easy-to-follow instructions
- Tips with every recipe
- A superfoods glossary
- A tea pairing suggestion for each chocolate!

Having these recipes in your arsenal will make you feel like an artisan chocolatier:
Dark & Daring – White Magic – Caramel Cuties
Goji Orange Crunch – Coated Strawberries – Marzipan Cigars
All Day Peppermint – Rawtella – Matcha Moons
Coconut Craving – Fudge Brownie – Royal Peanut Butter Cups
Spicy Hot Chocolate – Fruit & Nut Clusters – Cinnamon Truffles
Vanilla Cream Eggs (just in time for Easter!)
Ginger Lemon Bites – Raspberry Jam – Oh Honey
Mulberry Dreams – Piña Colada Roulade – Praline Pies
I’m telling you, Tanya is a genius! A wizard! A MAGICIAN! There’s not a single one of these I don’t want to make.

When first diving into the recipes, I started off by making some simple snacking chocolates for myself (see, they’re monogrammed!) with the Dark & Daring recipe, but I was soon ready to graduate to something even more sophisticated.

Matt turned 34 last Saturday, so for one of his birthday treats (I’ll be posting about the other very soon!), I made Tanya’s Coated Strawberries. The berries are dipped into dark chocolate, then decorated with a sort of caramelized white chocolate (not unlike the frosting on my raw caramel fudge brownies, in fact). I decided to be totally dorky and write out “HAPPY B-DAY MATT!” on some of the strawberries.

I had plenty of the white chocolate left, so I coated a few more strawberries with it, then piped the rest into large and small caramel chips! I intended to save them to put in raw cookies of some kind, buuut I ended up just eating them on their own. Oops.

When Matt got home from his business trip last Friday night, I surprised him at the door with this platter of awesomeness:

Needless to say, HE LOVED IT.

In a fabulous twist of serendipity, Tanya ended up posting about these very strawberries just days after I made them. So while you’re over at BetterRaw.com buying the ‘Seduced’ raw chocolate e-book, you can get the recipe for these coated strawberries, and even watch a video of Tanya making them (she’s adorable!).

CLICK HERE to buy ‘Seduced’ – Raw Chocolate Recipes To Get Very Excited For right now for $24 (U.S.), and get access to all these wonderful recipes TODAY. Believe me, friends, it’s worth every penny, and it would make a fantastic Easter gift for any chocoholic—including (and especially) yourself!
Which of Tanya’s chocolate recipes sounds tastiest to you?

Of course I make my own raw chocolate a lot. I’d love to try this book.

You really are an angel! I am certainly feeling very privileged and flattered right now, what a great Easter present you’ve just given me! xxx
You couldn’t be MORE welcome, Tanya! Thank YOU for writing such a magnificent tome
In addition to the blog, FB, and Twitter, I also posted the link to the Kansas City Raw Food Union just a bit ago, and at least one person there has already bought it
Wow. Just wow. Wizard doesn’t know how to thank Superwoman enough
Hehe, funnily enough, I JUST tagged you in another post on FB where I called you a wizard
Oh…WOW. I love her site, everything looks killer crazy good. Those strawberries are so much better than a birthday cake, I would undoubtedly eat them all in one sitting!
I made these AND a cake for Matt, so he wasn’t hurting for birthday sweets! His b-day was Saturday, and everything was gone by Monday =X
Um, omg. I have no idea what to say about this except YUUUUUUM. And wow. And I want one of those strawberries with the raw caramel! Seriously wow!

I wanted to let you know that I’ve nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award. =)
Aw, thank you Jamie! That’s so sweet of you.
Aww! What a thoughtful gift!
They look delicious!!
I’ve really been wanting to get into (simple) chocolate-making, and this ebook seems exactly like what I’ve been wanting! Thanks for the review, I’m going to check it out!
This e-book is perfect for you, then – so many of the chocolates can be made with minimal equipment.
I don’t consider myself a chocoholic. That said, I’d be totally lying if I said my mouth wasn’t watering right now…I want just about everything you’ve written about AND pictured, chocolate or not!! Thanks for the review – I hadn’t heard of the book or the blog prior!
You know what, I don’t consider myself a chocoholic either! I tend to prefer sweets based around vanilla, nut butter, white choc, caramel, etc. But this book stole my heart! There’s just nothing like good raw chocolate.
*whimper* Raw chocolate is one aspect of raw desserts that I haven’t yet delved into, but oh Amber. These photos. The descriptions.
Even though I think Matt is fantastic, he needs to accept how lucky he is that I haven’t yet moved to America. Because I aim to totally get you to marry me instead.
You, my dear, of all people on this earth, ought to have this book!
Hehe! If you come over here and ask me to marry you, I’m sure you’d beat him to it. Perhaps I’ll warn him of this…
Hey Amber, are you free Saturday night? Fancy a trip on my private helicopter to Pure Food and Wine? No reason…
If you arrive at LL at 6pm on the dot, and you whisk me back to N. CA by the stroke of midnight, it’s a deal!
Okay, okay, maybe it’s more important for you to make the most of your winnings first…
Aw, fiiine. ::harrumph:: Btw, though, the idea of a proposal at Pure Food & Wine is pure genius! Sigh…
okay, seriously…I have been thinking about purchasing this book but was hesitant….after reading your post I am going for it!!! Just for the choc. covered strawberries alone!!! I love how you made the happy Bday platter!!!
Yes, go for it! This book rawks!
gahhh that raw chocolate looks amazing im drooling… my bf loves chocolate strawberries so he would die if he saw your amazing creations!! I just love the name of the book.
Hehe! These strawberries were really easy to make – and fun, too
Not to mention, crazy-delicious! Your bf would love ‘em, I’m sure
Wow! That book looks delightful…I’ve been waiting for something like this (coming from a dedicated chocoholic). How does she get her chocolate so thin and so hard? Guess I’ll have to read and find out
Guess so!
Seriously though, this book is worth every penny. You’ll love it!
wow, they all look good! Maybe the rawtella! I always wanted to try that.
I need to try it myself!
Oh I’m drooling over all those photos!
It’s hard not to!
Hey.
I saw all those pictures…
and then I died.
Imma go get me sum chocolate.
HAHA! ‘Nuff said, right?
When she surprised me at the door with the strawberries, I was in shock. It was super-duper sweet of A. I DID love them! They were scrumptious. The chocolate didn’t overpower the fruitiness. I’m the type of person who hates to eat the letters on foods. Like birthday cake with the “Happy birthday” spelled out. I avoid that part until the end. So I savored the lettered ones the longest. Kisses, hugs, and licks to the best girlfriend on this planet!
Aw, honey bear! I’m so happy you enjoyed them. I’ll make you more anytime you want! :*
OMG these are UNREAL! I love the pictures in this and I’m SUPER craving chocolate pb dipped strawberries now!! (I just found your blog on my bookmarks from forever ago and I guess I had forgotten all about it!) SOOO glad I found you again, and can’t wait to read more;) I WANT that book now:)
Welcome back, Livi!
I’m so glad you rediscovered me, too!
